Q. What is Sweat It Festival?
A. Sweat It Festival is a one day event hosted by EMS in Glasgow focused on health, fitness and wellbeing. The Sweat It Festival philosophy is one ticket, unlimited fitness classes.
Q. When is Sweat It Festival?
A. The next Sweat It Festival will take place on Sunday 20 May 2018.
Q. Where is Sweat It Festival?
A. Sweat It Festival 2018 will be hosted at SWG3, 100 Eastvale Pl, Glasgow G3 8QG.
Q. What does my Sweat It Festival ticket include?
A. The ticket includes everything apart from food, drink and if you want to treat yourself at the market area.
Q. What are the opening times at Sweat It Festival?
A. Doors open at 11am with the first classes and demos starting at 11.30am
Q. Do I have to sign up for each class or book on the day?
A. You can book in advance and we will notify all ticket holders once the schedule has been confirmed and you will be able to reserve a space through the website or there will be an allocation left to book on the day.
Q. What classes are available at Sweat It Festival?
A. There will be a full schedule of activities posted on the website early 2018, we have a dedicated yoga studio, Mass Participation Zone that will include Spin, Cross Fit, Dance and much more and the outdoor Yard will have a number of activities and taster sessions too.
How many classes can I book at Sweat It Festival?
A. There is no limit.
Q. The class I want to book is full. Is there a waiting list?
A. We may have limited spaces on the day so check at the info desk on arrival or at the activity before it starts.
Q. How early to I need to show up for each class I have booked?
A. 5-10 minutes before is best to get ready and get you checked in.
Q. Will there be changing rooms, showers and lockers at Sweat It Festival?
A. There are no changing rooms or showers but we like things sweaty! There are toilets at the venue.
Q. I can’t attend Sweat It Festival now. Can I get a refund?
A. Sorry there is a no refund policy.
Q. Can I leave the festival during the day and return later?
A. Yes but you will be asked to get a stamp on your hand when you leave.
Q. Is there parking available at Sweat It Festival?
A. There is no dedicated parking at SWG3 but as it is a Sunday the surrounding area is free of charge to park. The venue is also close to a number of bus stops and train and underground stations.
Q. What payment methods will be available on the day at Sweat It Festival?
A. You can use cash and card.
Q. Will there be ATM’s on site at Sweat It Festival?
A. There are no ATMs on site but there are ATMs in the Finneston area which is a 5-minute walk away (or 2 minutes if you run!).
Q. Can I bring my child with me to Sweat It Festival?
A. Yes children are welcome. Free child tickets are available for children under 10 years of age. Please note that there are limited activities for children under 10 at the festival. Older children may be able to take part in some of the activities and sessions. All details of age restrictions will be stated next to the activity or workshop at time of booking and at the festival.
Q. Are dogs allowed at Sweat It Festival?
A. Dogs can be brought into the Yard area at SWG3 but must be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs will not be allowed inside the rest of the venue unfortunately.
Q. Can I bring my own food and drink to the festival?
A. Yes you can but we are very confident that you will want to try our fab offerings in the Refuel zones.
Q. Will there be medical support at the festival?
A. There will be First Aid on site.
Q. Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?
A. You can bring your own but we will have a number to offer on site.
