The Yoga Den has been extended to three spaces to make sure we can get everyone in.

Sweat It this year has Yoga, Pilates and Massage. All of which is renowned for improving your physical and mental wellbeing. There will be a mix of hot yoga, vinyasa, ashtanga and much more for you to try.

We have a great addition this year of a Hot Yoga Den provided by westend studio Damn Hot. ‘If it’s burnin’, it’s firmin’!

All sessions will be taster 45 mins, and accessible for all.

Laughter Yoga

We have two sessions of Laughter Yoga being brought to us by Joyworks.

What’s Laughter Yoga?
Laughter yoga is a unique and powerful combination of laughter exercises and breathing based on mime and play. It’s inclusive and universal and used to increase joy, build team morale and improve health.

Shanti Yoga

Shanti Yoga will be running a yoga session in Vinyasa Flow Yoga which involves synchronising the breath with a series of postures. The body is kept moving in line with the breath. A process which creates internal heat, purifying and detoxifying sweat. Which leads to improved circulation, increased concentration and focus and a more supple, strong and toned body.

90 Minutes

While the mind travels to the contemplation of the past and the uncertainty of the future, the 2 things that will always be available and always live in the present, is the breath and the physical body.

Using the wisdom of plants, the medicine of essential oils, the breath and yoga asana, you will be led through 90 minutes of presence.

Katrino will guide you through the 5 elements in your physical and emotional body. Earth, water, fire, air and aether in a yin/yang, strong and soft vinyasa practise. expect to leave feeling connected on a deep level to what presence feels like.

You are asked to bring yourself, raw and open and just as you are, to experience whatever comes up for you.

I am Jen Wilson

I Am | Jen Wilson; author of 9 Rules to Sort Your Shit, Urban Hippy, and Bodyworker using Yoga, Pilates, Meditation, Massage and Reiki to help you live a healthier, happier life.

Jen has worked in the industry since 2009 working with clients one to one, in group classes and online. After being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease in March 2017, Jen has fully understood the importance of the body, mind connection.

Jen is going to deliver, I Am | Moving Mindfully workshop which is a combination of Yoga, Pilates and Meditation. The workshop would be a 60 minute session accessible for all levels of experience, inclusive for all (including kids). The session would include movement connecting with the breath to strengthen and create space in the body and mind with a guided meditation session at the end.

MM Pilates

Marion McSherry will be delivering introduction to Pilates.

Marion Says “I’ve been practicing Pilates for over 15 years. Teaching for 2. I truly believe that everyone can benefit from Pilates. It was developed over 100 years ago by Joseph Pilates. It is based around six principles of breath, centre, concentration, control, precision and flow. Small, controlled movements are used to lengthen and strengthen the core muscles. All those muscles you didn’t know you had, but will definitely feel the next day!”

Ideal as a complement to other sports, for injury prevention and for those returning to activity after injury. Pilates offers a holistic approach to fitness, and the opportunity to connect mind and body.
